This large planter or cachepot, attributed to renowned Swiss designer Willy Guhl, features the iconic mouchoir (handkerchief) or tulip design. Guhl, a pioneer in mid-century modern design, is best known for his innovative work with Eternit, a durable fiber cement material, which allowed for the creation of lightweight, weather-resistant garden pieces.
